I’m a poet, teacher, wife, and mom from central Pennsylvania. Oddly, I’ve always lived somewhere near the Susquehanna River, west or main branch. I studied creative writing at both Susquehanna University (B.A., 2004) and Penn State (M.F.A., 2007). My poetry has appeared in a wide range of print and online publications, from Crab Orchard Review (first significant appearance) to Books & Culture (most recently, as of March 2014). My chapbook of poetry, Lo & Behold, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2009. Next step and in progress: a full-length collection. At Lycoming College I teach English composition, direct the Writing Center and other peer tutoring programs, and coordinate the Writing Across the Curriculum Program. My husband and I have a three-year-old daughter and a mouthy Siamese kitty.
